(I am open to pet sitting in other locations around town, preferably close to the metro station and also for longer periods of time (ie. greater than 2 weeks). My location automatically shows Barsha but I have pet sat in other areas of town from the Palm to closer to TECOM sides and World Trade centre side. Also for dog walking, I am open to several areas as long as accessible to/from the metro). My love for animals began very young even though I was raised in the city. I still remember playing ‘Animal Farm’ with my brother as a child as I’d dream of having my own farm filled with all sorts of animals in the countryside. While I don’t have pets of my own (it’s by choice), I love helping friends when they are away on vacation, to care for their cats and dogs at their place. I’d like to pursue taking care of well-behaved pets at their own home in the city. Taking care of pets relaxes me and the dogs and cats can feel that, which is why they in turn feel relaxed hanging around with me. I love taking photos of them as they pose for me. And when they are asleep or chilling out, that’s the best time to sketch them. Animals make life so much happier and relaxed. I’m only open to caring for pets on a dog-sitting or cat-sitting basis at this time. In addition to walking the dog.

Restrictions

I’d like to take care of healthy pets as well as well-mannered pets who listen when I ask them to sit. No aggressive pets please. I’m not a VET however, being responsible, I’d like to know if the pet is a bit unwell or if it has medications it needs to have in the food.

Experience

Have cared for a friend’s two cats for three weeks while they were away on holiday (cat-sitting) - Palm Jumeirah. I took care of another friend’s cat and 11 year old dog while they were on holiday for 2 weeks (pet sitting and cat boarding)- TECOM area. Have also plant sat, house sat for other friends in the Greens area. We have a guard dog back home who I’ve loved since he was a pup. He may be ferocious to strangers but is like putty in my hands when I visit him on holidays.
